Almost 170 pupils, teachers and staff from the 1930s to the 1990s enjoyed a celebration lunch at KGGS to mark the Centenary of the school. Pupils and teachers travelled from all over the world to renew friendships and celebrate the role that KGGS has played in their lives. They were joined by Head Teacher, Graham Burks, and current pupils, who entertained with music, singing and dancing. Current head girls conducted a tour of the school and assisted with a hugely successful raffle which raised funds to mark the centenary. The event was organised by Diane Watson (Johnson 1960-1967) and a superb lunch was provided by ex-pupil Anne Lucas of the Anne Lucas Catering Company. Further events to celebrate the centenary will be notified in the Centenary Celebrations section of our website.
